How does a concrete mixer truck work
Let’s have a quick look at how it works. Its working principle is simple.
The force extractor drives the power of the engine through the small transmission shaft to drive the hydraulic motor of the hydraulic pump to rotate, and drives the stirring barrel to rotate through the reducer. During the transportation of concrete, it is necessary to keep the mixing tank rotating at a low speed of 1-3 revolutions per minute to ensure the uniform quality of concrete and prevent concrete segregation, which is called mixing.
When the concrete mixer on truck is loaded with concrete, the mixer tank turns at a faster speed of 6-10 revolutions per minute. The concrete enters the mixing cylinder through the charging system and flows to the middle and lower part of the mixing cylinder under the guidance of spiral blades.
